ASPIRE—the 69th HFES International Annual Meeting, happening October 13-17, 2025, in Chicago, IL, will help us break new ground, grow, connect and make the world a better place through the application of our specialized body of knowledge. ASPIRE is the premier HFES educational activity dedicated to advancing systems and practice through innovation, research and education.
In this pivotal moment with the current U.S. administration, the importance of community and in-person networking cannot be overstated. ASPIRE provides an unparalleled opportunity to foster these vital connections, share ideas, and collaborate on solutions that can truly make a difference. The meeting is planned to attract nearly 1,400 attendees from academia, government and industry and will feature more than 600 technical presentations, including curated special sessions. We will continue to ensure the quality of the submissions through rigorous peer review while ensuring the proceedings are archived and indexed for wide dissemination. Content will be tailored to meet attendee interests via tracks organized by the society’s diverse Technical Groups.
The meeting continues to evolve to meet HFES member needs and interests, building on a long history of relevance for HF/E practitioners and academics with an eye to the future of the industry. Join us to re-engage with your community and recharge your professional strength and enthusiasm at the leading meeting of the human factors and ergonomics discipline.
